Mr. Emerson was raised in Hammond and is a life-long Northwest Indiana resident. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a civil engineer and is a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the State of Indiana.

He previously practiced with the law firm of Lucas, Holcomb & Medrea LLP in Merrillville, IN, and has worked as a law clerk for the Indiana, Lake County Circuit Court. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Mr. Emerson is a member of the Lake County and Indiana State Bar Association.

Mr. Emerson is a partner at the law firm of Emerson Neff LLP primarily practicing civil litigation. His practice areas include personal injury, commercial litigation, real estate law, collection law, and evictions.
